5 Tips - Have A Great Start In The Morning

Here are some tips on how to have a great kick-off start in the morning.

Disclaimer - I am not an expert nor a pro in this kind of topic but I'll share based on my experience & how it worked for me, hope it'll help you too!

1)      Start Early

We all know the second hardest thing in the morning apart from getting out of bed is to wake up punctually early without multiple times snoozing your alarms, am I right? Whether you’re up for school or work, you really have no choice but to... JUST FORCE, ourselves! Such struggle, I know.
(in my opinion) it is a very great feeling to wake up without struggle.

How you may ask?
DO.NOT.SLEEP.LATE!

I know3x, sometimes we have to force our eyes to stay awake for those unfinished assignments, those delayed paperwork, the projects/homework due tomorrow, but the ultimate key to wake up early is to sleep early. I know this might be a repetitive statement, but from my experience, 100% true.
So some of you really do have a LOT of work; it’s unavoidable. But just remember guys, your brain and your body needs some rest.

Don’t let yourself feeling overly tired because the mood that you’re taking to sleep is also the mood you’ll be feeling once you wake up.

2)      Stay Away from distractions

Hands up if you’re one of those who immediately grab their phone in the morning after shutting off the alarm? Naturally scrolling through your social medias and mails? Sigh, me too. Kind of a habit. But I made a promise to myself, to avoid my phone or my laptop (or any possible way to socialize).
Put away your phone, as far as possible, the further the better! This helps to clear up your mind in the morning, no more cramped head from those social news. Go get out of bed, grab your towel and shower. If you’re constantly on your phone, especially during the mornings, it’s harder for you to stay focus! Hard to avoid, but trust me, this will make a change right from the start of your day, to not delay anything in the morning. Make sense? Hope so!

3)      Have a hearty breakfast

I got to admit before I explain any further; I am not a breakfast kind of person. Even if I do take one, I don’t really eat much. I tend to have a stomach-ache if I eat in the early mornings. Brunch is typically my best friend. Important, you should not skip breakfast!
Why is breakfast so important?
It boosts up your energy. Feeling a little drowsy in the morning? A hearty breakfast will solve it, a cup of coffee too, get that wake-up call!
Your brain and body will function way better too, so if you have a test or a big exam, do NOT skip breakfast.

As for me, I prefer a quick bowl of cereal or a light salad, sandwiches works too! Choose the food that is quick but also filling, so you won’t run late in-case you wake up late.

Tip – prepare your breakfast the night before if you decide to cook a heavier breakfast.

4)      Set a goal for the day

While eating your breakfast or when you’re just getting ready, have a thorough thought on what you want to achieve that day. Set up a simple goal and promise yourself to have it accomplish before the day ends. It doesn’t matter whether if it’s just as simple as making your bed once you’ve arrive home from school or work or have a 5 mins exercise time. Whatever you want to complete that day, do it! This trains you to be more punctual.

Gentle reminder – DO NOT push yourself with LOADS of goals, having one is enough; two is even better.

Don’t be hard on yourself; don’t make this as a pressure instead. Remember to lift your head once you have completed the goal and give yourself a reward once you’re done!

5)      Be Happy - Stay Positive!

To have a happy morning, learn to embrace your morning routine! Wake up, feel great, throw off all the negativity and don’t forget that you are a great person and you deserve a great day.

Believe that, a great start should end great too.
Live your life to the fullest, make every second count, cherish every moment and remember there are people out there who support and love you.
Thankyou for your time to read this, it means a lot! X
Assalamualaikum and goodbye, see you on my next one. Stay amazing.

Lots of love, NFS. <3
