Shiseido White Lucent, a skincare line that I've used (currently still using some) for quite a long time now, around a year plus. I started putting my full trust on this line after I see gradual changes on my skin; positive ones. I’m quite happy with what I bought & how it made my skin better, however I didn’t purchase every single product from their White Lucent line, reason why is that my skin is very sensitive to strong products, so I minimize the products that I’m putting on my skin routine, keeping it simple but effective.
Products I purchased from their White Lucent line:
· Shiseido White Lucent – Brightening Moisturizing Emulsion w
· Shiseido White Lucent – Brightening Protective Emulsion w (SPF 15)
· Shiseido White Lucent – Spot Targeting Serum+
Not sure whether this is just the basic Shiseido skin care line or not but I’ll just include it here:
· Shiseido – Urban Environment UV Protector Extra Mild (SPF 30 PA+++)
I’m not going to review every product here in this post; I will try to update individual posts describing each one. As for today, I’m just going to write about my daily moisturizer that I’ve used. I already have two empties, two small bottles, tester bottles to be exact, why i bought this instead of the normal ones? *whispers* it's cheaper, hahahahah.
Since I ran out of this moisturizer, I’ve changed it to CAUDALIE’s Grape Water Facial Mist, [click here to read my post about it]
This skincare line is quite over-priced for me... well it does its job but, I think I can find other products which are cheaper than this and will suit my skin same as this did. HEHEHE

What does it do to my skin?
Alright friends, sit down, it's storytime!
During the first few months using this, it made my face oily easily after every-time I apply this. My face will be super shiny & I just felt icky. So, I stopped around a month or so but then I realized after I stopped using this, my face tend to be dry, so dry that it made me break-out more. So I thought to myself that - since I’m new to this moisturizer, I don’t really know how “moisturized” face feels like. And also, I used this for school before, although it says apply on the evening only (which clearly means its JUST to be used in the evening but I’m just stubborn HAHAHA) and yes, it does make my skin feel kind of oily during school days. Kind of a love-hate feeling towards this product. Sometimes my face feels gold but sometimes, OH MY GOD, don’t let me start.
In conclusion, after trying out, testing this, testing that, I finally learned that THIS product can only be used before you go to bed, so that it locks the moisture under your skin when you’re sleeping. Reason why my skin felt oily every-time if I apply it during day, it will just double up the oil on my face, since I already have an oily face to start off with. Lesson learned & I finally know how to manage this product well and when to use it and when to NOT use it! :D But before I could continue on with my routine using this as a daily moisturizer in the correct way, it just runs out & I’m left with two empty bottles. L
How often should I use it?
As I mentioned above, I used them during the day also, which is not the correct way. Bear in mind guys if you ever buy this, BE CAREFUL! So I really suggest using this before bed, after cleansing, toning and serum. So that it can do it’s “work” calmly when you sleep without it being exposed to the sunlight, make sense? I hope so! HAHAHAHA
Do I feel like repurchasing it?
To be honest, this time, a no. Yes, I bought another bottle once my first one ran out because I was still at the “learning” stage of trying out beauty products. ^^
Shiseido, please have discount promotions often so I can splurge on your other beauty product lines. HEHEHE
